Bridge at Most na Soči

Can a bridge preserve identity even when it must be replaced?

Most na Soči carries the identity of a town into its next chapter.

Replacing the bridge that gave Most na Soči its name could never be an ordinary infrastructure project. From the very beginning, the design grew through dialogue with the local community.

The result gives priority to people rather than traffic: pedestrians reclaim the riverfront, while vehicles are quietly integrated behind the walls. More than a crossing, the new bridge becomes a public place that reflects the village's identity and supports its future as a destination for walking, cycling and exploring the Soča River.
